Bulgarian Sirma Group to open office in Norway

Bulgarian IT company Sirma Group will unveil a representative office in Norway, which will be engaged in sales and marketing, the company said as quoted by Dnevnik. According to Anton Gavrailov, head of Sirma Mobile's business development department, the office opening is aimed at promoting products and services of the company and its partners. An example of this is the Bipper parent control product, which was developed by Norwegian software company Bipper with the help of Sirma. Bulgaria is one of the European countries to market the product, which is currently offered by telecoms operator Vivacom. Bipper enables parents to monitor the length of calls of their children through a portal website, as well as the received calls and dialed numbers. There is also a location-based service. In February, Sirma Mobile sealed a co-operation agreement with handset manufacturer Motorola, concerning the US company's iSIM application platform, which is used for the Bipper product.
